Returns & Warranty Policy

At LithMag, we supply specialist fire safety equipment designed to help protect people, property, and critical infrastructure from the risks associated with lithium battery fires.

Because many of our products are manufactured, assembled, or prepared specifically for each order, we ask customers to carefully review product specifications before purchasing.


Returns

Returns are accepted only with prior authorisation from LithMag.

As our products are specialist safety equipment, we generally do not accept returns due to:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect product selection by the customer
  • Products ordered in error
  • Products no longer required

If you are unsure which product is appropriate for your application, we encourage you to contact us before placing your order. We are always happy to provide guidance and technical advice.


Damaged or Defective Products

We stand behind the quality of every product we supply.

If your order arrives damaged during shipping, or if you believe a product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@totumlc.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photographs of the packaging (if shipping damage is suspected)
  • Photographs of the product

Where a manufacturing defect or shipping damage is confirmed, LithMag will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the product at no additional cost, or
  • Repair the product where appropriate, or
  • Provide a refund if a replacement is not available.

Our priority is to ensure that every customer has equipment that is safe, functional, and fit for its intended purpose.


Warranty

Products supplied by LithMag are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

Warranty coverage does not extend to damage resulting from:

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Improper storage
  • Improper installation or maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage after delivery
  • Use outside the manufacturer's intended purpose

Specific warranty periods may vary between products and manufacturers.


Return Shipping

Where a return has been authorised due to a verified manufacturing defect or shipping damage, LithMag will provide instructions regarding return shipping and any applicable shipping reimbursement.

Unauthorised returns may be refused.
