When lithium battery incidents exceed the capability of portable extinguishers, rapid deployment of larger suppressant volumes becomes critical.

The LithMag Mobile Series combines ASME-certified pressure vessels with a compressed-air propulsion system to deliver large quantities of specialist extinguishing agents exactly where they are needed.

Designed for fire departments, industrial facilities, battery storage operations, ports, mines, recycling facilities, utilities and emergency response teams, the mobile units provide sustained application without the complexity of powered pumps.

Engineered for Large Battery Incidents

Unlike conventional wheeled extinguishers that rely on stored pressure inside the vessel, LithMag Mobile Units use an external compressed-air source to expel the contents. This provides a constant discharge pressure throughout the operation while allowing the vessel to be safely recharged with different suppression agents.

One mobile platform can be configured for multiple extinguishing agents including:

Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion (AVD)

For lithium-ion battery fires where thermal runaway has exposed battery cells.

AVD provides:

  • Rapid cooling
  • Thermal insulation
  • Oxygen exclusion
  • Cell encapsulation
  • Re-ignition prevention
  • Long-duration suppression

Trident PFAS-Free Encapsulating Foam

Designed for rapid knockdown of surrounding combustible materials and peripheral fire involvement.

Dry Chemical Powders

The system may also be configured for specialist powders including:

  • Purple-K
  • Monnex

The LithMag Two-Stage Suppression Doctrine

LithMag advocates a two-stage approach to large lithium battery incidents.

Stage 1 – Fast Attack

Apply Trident PFAS-Free Encapsulating Foam to rapidly suppress the peripheral fire.

This immediately reduces:

  • heat release
  • smoke production
  • flame spread
  • toxic emissions
  • exposure to adjacent assets

Stage 2 – Battery Suppression

Once access to the battery pack is achieved, transition to AVD.

AVD penetrates damaged battery modules where it:

  • cools exposed cells
  • encapsulates burning materials
  • electrically insulates damaged conductors
  • limits oxygen availability
  • reduces re-ignition potential

This sequential approach minimises the time that batteries remain in uncontrolled thermal runaway while significantly reducing the volume of contaminated firewater generated.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
